<b> Please note the gym is CLOSED to the public from 1700-2000 Monday - Friday </b> Cranfield University Fitness Centre is situated at the Sports Centre on the Cranfield campus and caters for the general public, staff and students. A great range of modern gym facilities are offered including sports, fitness classes and competitive team sports. By offering a wide range of passes and no contract gym memberships the gym hopes to cater for all lifestyles. So whether you’re looking for some workout time between lectures or an affordable gym in Cranfield to help you to get fit after work, this fitness centre is well worth a visit. The fitness suite has been recently extended and now contains a cardio room with 15 pieces of equipment. Upstairs you will find a good variety of resistance machines including rowers, treadmills, elliptical machines and stationary bikes. In addition, a wide selection of Olympic weights and plate loaded machines are available for those wanting a thorough training session. The fitness centre caters for all fitness levels, ranging from complete beginners to elite sportspeople. Qualified, friendly staff are on hand to offer help and advice to anyone wanting training advice. Further facilities at the fitness centre include a dance studio offering a wide range of group exercise classes such as Boxercise, yoga and Pilates. A spacious indoor sports hall hosts several activities including badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and circuit training, Outdoors, you have access to a full-sized playing field for football, rugby and cricket, as well as tennis courts and squash courts. How to find us The Cranfield campus is situated on College Road in Wharley End, near Cranfield village. The M1 motorway is about 10 minutes drive away and parking is available at the fitness centre.. Regular buses to and from Bedford and Milton Keynes have routes C1 and 52 stopping at the campus, while the nearest train stations is Milton Keynes.
