About this gym

Lockers for valuables are free at this site. Classes are included and do not need to be pre-booked with the exception of the Monday and Wednesday 6pm Spinning classes. With over 20 years experience, Workhouse Fitness is one of Yorkshire's longest serving, successful independent fitness clubs. Over the years it has evolved into the friendliest and most trusted fitness club in the area. Its ethos is to provide a unique environment for all types of people, from the de-conditioned with little or no exercise background, all the way through to the most serious athlete. To broaden its appeal the club offers a great, safe and friendly creche facility and over 50s programmes and classes. With so many years experience, Workhouse Fitness knows how to provide an exercise environment with great equipment, classes and structured back up that continually supports its guests in achieving their fitness goals. You might think that the most appealing aspect of the gym is the wide range of great exercise equipment, or perhaps the clean and comfy surroundings. In fact alongside all of this they also offer a unique friendliness that is second to none. The welcoming and friendly ambience sets the workhouse fitness club apart from other clubs, and indeed it's members find it to be its most endearing quality.
