West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre, just opened in late 2014 and operated by Better, boasts some of the best facilities in South London. With a 100 station gym, swimming pool and a class timetable offering something for everyone you'll be working out in one of the best equipped fitness centres in London. The fitness suite is home to over 100 stations all of which are the latest Technogym equipment, these include a full range of cardiovascular equipment as well as resistance machines. A dedicated free weights area will add strength training to your workout and stretching areas are perfect for warming up and cooling down or working on any sore muscles. Add something different to your fitness routine by taking advantage of the latest functional training equipment, they offer an extra level of body conditioning and can target all areas of the body. The 6 lane, 25 metre swimming pool is perfect for those swimming for fitness or pleasure. If you're looking to improve your technique or just get started in the pool lessons are on offer throughout the week for all ages and abilities. Workout with friends or meet new people and take up a group exercise class with Pilates, Yoga, Boot Camp and many more available. If you are travelling by bus you can get here with bus routes 2 (Norwood Bus Garage - Marylebone Station), 68 (West Norwood Station - Euston Bus Station), 196 (Norwood Junction Station - Elephant & Castle) and 315 (Balham Station - Rothschild Street).
