Please note the unusual Opening Hours at this site. Please Note: The lettings entrance is across the junction, opposite 199 Lynton Road, SE1 5RF, entering through the big green gates. The City of London Academy Gym is a great choice to help you to get fit and gives regular gym users and customers the chance to use the facilities setup for the school, one the school day is out. This means opening hours run from 4 hours each evening on Monday through to Friday and 10am to 4pm on weekends, providing a convenient evening and weekend workout schedule. The gym facilities are of great quality and well maintained ensuring they’re suitable for experienced exercise fans as well as newcomers. The range of machinery is extensive with a large and spacious gym area split into dedicated sections. One half of the room is set out with resistance machines whilst the other is home to a good range of cardiovascular machines including modern treadmills and cross trainers. The gym also has a great range of free weights including kettlebells and dumbbells of different weights. In addition to the main gym, The City of London Academy also has an indoor hall for sports and a studio and there is a sports field and basketball court outside of the centre, both of which require pre-booking to use. The City of London Academy Gym has received some great reviews from its current and previous customers who highlight the impressive range of equipment it offers considering its size and the fact that the staff are always friendly and only too happy to help. How To Find Us The City of London Academy Gym is on the Southwark campus of the college and well located for street parking in the Southwark area. The nearest tube station is Bermondsey, less than 15 minutes’ walk away and the South Bermondsey Rail Station is also nearby. In terms of bus routes both the number 381 (County Hall – Peckham Bus Station) and 1 (Canada Water Bus Station – Tottenham Court Road) run nearby.
