Life Fitness cardio machines such as treadmills, exercise bikes and cross trainers are available, but what really sets this gym apart from others in the area is the extensive Hammer Strength weight lifting equipment that’s on offer. Legends Gym Haringey has been described as one of the best weight lifting gyms in London, and it with the extensive range of strength equipment, it won’t take you long to work out why. Punch bags and dumbbells are also available, allowing you to complete a circuit that suits you. Personal trainers are available, and one-to-one sessions can be booked with them at an additional cost. These sessions will help you to get even more out of your workout and will give you the opportunity to try out some new equipment safely. Even if you’re not used to a weightlifting environment, the friendly staff and the other gym customers can offer encouragement and motivation and you won’t be left feeling out of place. There is also a Supplement Bar which provides a variety of pre and post-workout drinks and protein bars. How to find us: The gym is a short walk from Harringay Green Lanes (Overground) and Harringay (Great Northern) railway stations. Buses 141 (London Bridge – Palmers Green) and 341 (Waterloo – Upper Edmonton) stop right outside. Look out for the red Snooker Club entrance sign – the gym is in the same building.
