Heston Community Sports Hall

There is no access to the centre until 5.30pm (Monday-Friday) Heston Community Sports Hall is located on the secondary school site of Heston Community School in Heston, Hounslow. The Sports Hall is an important resource to the School during the day, but out of School hours provides the local community with an excellent venue for health and fitness activities. The centre provides a fitness suite with free weights and aerobic fitness equipment, helping you to get a full body work out. The gym has a unique feel to it and provides the ideal venue for heavy weight trainers as well as those looking to get back into fitness. Staff will be able to help you to use the machines that you’re unsure of and can offer friendly and motivational advice. Heston Community Sports Hall has an excellent range of other facilities, available to book for an additional cost. The studio houses classes such as dance, yoga, karate and table tennis and a number of other activities. There is also a sports hall which provides a full size basketball court, five-a-side indoor football, badminton, cricket (nets), volleyball and netball. Outside the sports hall there are 3 hard courts for tennis, netball and five aside football. The centre also provides a flood lit astroturf five aside football pitch that is open throughout the year and there is also a large playing field. Booking for hire space and classes is recommended. It is a 10 minute walk from Osterley and Hounslow East train stations (Piccadilly Line). The bus routes closest to the centre are 120 (Hounslow – Northolt) and 111 (Cromwell Road Bus Station – Heathrow Central Bus Station). It's also just a 10-15 minute walk from Hounslow town centre.
