About this gym

Reached via a quiet residential road and surrounded by green open space, Coldharbour Leisure Centre is a popular local gym for the residents of Sidcup and Eltham. As well as the fitness facilities, the centre hosts a licensed bar with big screen TV. Coldharbour hosts many local sports teams, and so has a lively atmosphere when matches are taking place on its football and netball pitches. Recently refurbished and with more new gym equipment being added, the indoor facilities at Coldharbour make it a good choice for those looking for an affordable gym in the borough of Greenwich. The upgrade to the gym has given it a new floor, a much-improved layout and a complement of 55 exercise stations. There is a wide range of new cardiovascular machines as well as the Smith machine and Powerplate. There is also a selection of free weights and a mat area. The fitness studio runs morning and evening group exercise classes. Options available include Pilates, body conditioning and step sessions. Classes in the air-conditioned studio change regularly, so contact the centre for details. Please note that there is an additional fee for these sessions. After your workout, there are new showers and changing rooms so that you can freshen up before joining the locals relaxing in the bar. How to find us: The centre is on Chapel Farm Road just off Sidcup Road, in the north-west corner of the Altash Gardens playing fields and open space. The nearest station is Mottingham (National Rail), a 5 minute walk from the centre. This is also the location of the nearest bus stop, served by routes 124 (Stanstead Road St Dunstans – Southend Crescent/Southend Close), 126 (Ringers Road – Eltham High Street/Footscray Road) and 161 (Chiselhurst War Memorial – North Greenwich Station) There is free car parking at the centre for 100 cars. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ You can now save time when visiting this club by redeeming your pass code via the self-service kiosks which are in reception
