About this gym

Meet in the Car park off Wimbledon Park Road, opposite Woodspring Road. Postcode for your Sat nav: SW19 6PL - do not rely on the postcode as it is not 100% accurate, please use a map as well. British Military Fitness deliver classes in over 145 parks across the UK. BMF was originally started to encourage more people to get out of the gyms and get active in the great outdoors. Why? Because outdoor exercise is proven to be better for you than working out in the gym. All sessions are led by military-trained instructors with infectious enthusiasm, and are a fun and effective way of getting fit. With the encouragement of your instructor, you’ll train in pairs, groups and teams, climbing over, crawling under and running around each other from the first to the last minute. Everyone, from exercise rookies to fitness veterans, is welcome. Each class is divided into three ability groups (blue, red, green), and broken down into groups of around 15 people. You don’t need special kit to train with British Military Fitness. An old t-shirt and shorts or tracksuit is ideal. You’ll be warm within five minutes of starting the class, so please dress accordingly. Some exercises involve getting down on the ground so be prepared to get at least a little bit dirty - it's part of the fun! So dust off your trainers, kiss the treadmill goodbye and see why thousands of others are hooked on BMF.
