Welcome to Moreton Hall Health Club, a fitness and squash club situated off Mount Road in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Moreton Hall Health Club was built about 30 years ago as a purpose built 4 court squash club. Over the years the club was to grow in size, not only the membership base, but also the building, as 2 more courts and an aerobics studio were built. About 16 years ago the gym, creche and indoor pool were added, and the summer of 2008 saw the opening of a heated 20m x 9m outdoor pool, to provide the ideal package for the modern family. Throughout all these changes Moreton Hall Health Club has managed to maintain its friendly, family environment, providing good facilities, excellent staff and affordable rates. The Main Gym, which is fully air-conditioned, contains a large range of Cardio and Resistance machines along with a selection of free weights. There is also a Ladies Only Gym, which again, is fully air-conditioned and adjacent to the ladies changing rooms. This area offers over 20 pieces of equipment along with gym circuits and 2 Pro Core training machines which gives you the equivalent of a 1 hour workout in just 10 minutes! (extra charges apply). You can also take advantage of the heated outdoor and heated indoor pools, sauna and steam room, all of which are great for winding down after your workout. Both pools have a constant depth of 1.2m making it ideal for serious swimmers as well as those not so confident. The Moreton Hall creche is a fully equipped, staffed service which gives you the chance to use our other facilities without having to worry about your children. Open from Monday to Friday, 0920-1115, this service must be pre-booked, please enquire directly with Health Club staff for more details. Finally there are 5 Squash Courts (3 glass-backed) and 2 synthetic grass tennis courts. Hussle Users can use the courts if they are free, on payment of £5 per person court fee, but they cannot book courts. The team here are highly qualified, excellently trained, friendly and non-judgemental. They will support you and encourage you at all times. Enjoy!
